Leading with LA&PS is a leadership development program offered by the LA&PS Colleges to help students build confidence and grow their leadership skills—no matter where they’re starting from. The Leading with LA&PS workshops are delivered in a variety of formats, including online sessions, live webinars, and occasional in-person events, giving participants flexible options to match their learning style and schedule.
Leading with LA&PS helps you to explore your leadership style, strengthen communication and teamwork skills, and learn how to lead with empathy and resilience. It’s also a great way to connect with like-minded peers, get inspired, and feel more confident about getting involved on campus.
Workshops are organized into four key streams—Foundations of Leadership, Communication & Collaboration, Equity & Inclusive Leadership, and Resilience & Personal Empowerment—so there’s something for everyone, whether you're just starting to explore leadership or looking to deepen specific skills.

Whether you're just beginning to explore leadership or looking to build on what you already know, this program offers opportunities to learn new skills and strengthen existing ones. Workshops are offered throughout the year in flexible formats—including online, live webinars, and occasional in-person sessions—so you can choose what works best for you.
Students who complete any 4 workshops across the streams within 2 years will receive a Certificate of Completion, recognizing their commitment to personal and professional growth as a student leader.
