The on-campus location is convenient for study sessions and group projects.

Through SC&LD, you can request that the room be set up ahead of your arrival.

Large student organizations and groups will find a space to suit their needs.
Booking Process
Internal (York University) Eligible Users can request the use of the spaces listed below by following these steps:
Step 1: Requesting the Space
Complete the YU Room Request Form.
The information collected will help determine if your event requires the completion of a Temporary Use of University Space Application. Please allow 1 to 2 business days for our team to respond to your inquiry.
Step 2: Booking Confirmation
If the room(s) requested on the YU Room Request Form are available, you will receive a booking confirmation email.
This email will include instructions on completing a Temporary Use of University Space Application (if required), Maximo Service Request and Classroom Equipment Order.
Also included will be information on where and when to sign out the keys to the space that has been booked.
Peak Periods
Fall Term: August 21, 2023, to September 22, 2023
Winter Term: January 1 to 19, 2024
Due to the increased volume of requests during peak periods, the LA&PS Colleges team will review your request and respond to you within 48 to 72 hours.
Note: During peak periods, the Office of Temporary Use of University Space (TUUS) will require a minimum of 15 business days to process TUUS Applications. Room booking requests submitted less than 15 business days from the proposed date of the event cannot be processed.

Outdoor space located between Founders College & Residence
Enjoy a peaceful setting between classes at the most beautiful outdoor space at Founders!
Booked through the Office of Temporary Use of University Space.
WHO CAN BOOK SPACES AT THE LA&PS COLLEGES
As per the University’s Procedure on the Temporary Use of University Space, eligible users can request by space for meetings, events and other activities outside of normal academic activities by contacting the reservation agent responsible for booking those spaces.
Internal (York University) Eligible Users of university space include:
- Academic Offices, Departments and Research Centres
- Administrative Departments and Employee Groups
- Recognized Student Governments and Student Organizations
External (non-York University) Requests
All external organizations seeking to book space at York University must do so through Accommodation & Conference Services.
BOOKABLE SPACES AT THE COLLEGES
There are three types of spaces at the LA&PS Colleges:
- Academic Teaching Space (Classrooms, seminar rooms, lecture theatres, etc.)
- Non-Academic Space (Dining Rooms, Assembly Halls, etc.)
- Student Study Spaces
Academic Teaching Space
Classroom space is controlled by the Registrar’s Office. University departments and employee groups seeking to book these spaces can make a request by completing the Classroom Online AdHoc Booking Request Form.
Recognized student organizations seeking to book academic teaching space can make a request by completing the YU Connect Event Form.
