Curious about Tea Time Talks? Open to everyone, this program encourages meaningful group discussions where participants can ask respectful questions and share personal experiences. Register online to join an upcoming session.

Before the event

Register online and check your email for reminders and event details, including the date, time and location.

Attend the session, including a welcome, land acknowledgement, partner presentation, panel discussion, tea break, small-group discussions and closing reflection.

Do I have to register?

Yes, please register online or upon arrival at the session.


Can I just listen?

Yes, you are welcome to listen and/or participate, depending on your comfort level.  


Do I need to know anything about the topic?

Not at all. Come with an open mind ​and learn something new.  


What if I arrive late?

Not a problem. Have a seat, join the conversation and have some


Can I come alone?

Yes, this is great opportunity to meet the York community.


Will there be complimentary snacks?

Yes! Founders College will provide light refreshments such as teas and snacks.  


How long is each session? 

Depending on the topic, sessions can range from 60 to 120 minutes (including discussions).
