Panopto Training

Introducing the new YorkU video/lecture software that is integrated into eClass. Panopto is now available in eClass for you to use as the new lecture recording solution. Know the difference between Panopto and Zoom to help you select the best option for your lecture. If you weren’t able to attend any of the UIT LTS intro sessions, the recorded session will teach you how to add Panopto to your eClass courses. There is also support documentation to help you get started.

The Panopto support site also has some great resources to help with using Panopto. You will need to create a login to access some of the content such as regularly scheduled webinars and their Weekly Q&A (Office Hours) that takes place every Friday at 12pm.

Panopto Overview

"Panopto" is York University's new video/lecture recording system that is integrated into eClass. In this training session instructors will learn to add Panopto to their eClass course, how to create videos by recording with Panopto Capture, Windows or Mac, and how to download and install Panopto on a Windows or Mac. The session will also cover how to embed Panopto videos in your course, how to edit videos and how to bring your recordings from TechSmith Relay or Zoom into Panopto.
