Steven enjoys sharing anecdotes from his time serving in government as a senior Cabinet Minister in an attempt to provide real world examples to help students understand the course materials better. Steven was first elected to the Ontario Legislature as the MPP from Vaughan in September 2012. In 2014, he was appointed to the provincial Cabinet and served as Minister of Transportation and then Minister of Economic Development and Growth. In March 2020, he was was elected as Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party.
