Top 30 Changemakers Under 30

At home and abroad, York University’s young alumni are making positive, impactful change. From business leaders championing equity, diversity and inclusion, to social impact researchers and environmental activists, York alumni working across all sectors are making meaningful differences in their communities.

York U’s Top 30 Changemakers Under 30 program aims to recognize inspiring and diverse alumni 29 years old and younger who are driven to make a difference locally and globally. With past recipients pursuing careers in science and technology, anti-Black racism in Canada, and disability rights, we are honoured to recognize and engage these changemakers and shed light on the inspiring work they’re doing.

Does this sound like you or a York alumna/alumnus who you know? We want to hear from you!

To nominate a York grad, tell us how the candidate demonstrates a commitment to creating positive change through their actions and values for York students, the wider community, and the world around them. Looking for some inspiration? Check out the 2021 Top 30 Changemakers Under 30 list.

Nominations are due no later than Monday, October 18, 2021. The recipients will be announced in winter 2022.

Eligibility criteria:  Any York graduate who is 29 years of age or younger on Dec. 31, 2022. Candidates can self-nominate or be nominated by their peers.
