York is an exceptionally diverse community, with students and scholars from around the world. Consequently, current and prospective members of the university community may be impacted by global conflicts and crises in several ways, including but not limited to involuntary displacement, destruction of homes, and loss of work.
York has established the York Emergency Student Support Fund, which provides essential financial assistance for students affected by conflicts, natural disasters, and other geopolitical events and crises.
With the help of our incredible community, we can respond quickly to the urgent needs of affected students and enhance the financial support available to students when they need it most.
