On November 3, 2016, The Chinese Program, DLLL, presented a screening of ‘Crosscurrent’ with Director Yang Chao. This elegiac and visually astounding feature film from the acclaimed Director Yang Chao (Passages) was awarded the Silver Bear for Outstanding Artistic Contribution (Cinematography- Mark Lee Ping-Bing) at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival. The film blends fantasy, poetry and history in a breathtaking journey up the Yangtze River, from the Shanghai metropolis to the mountains of Tibet.

The event caught the attention of Omni TV who covered the event and spoke with the filmmaker.  The story was aired, in Mandarin, last week.
