Expand your horizons with our language proficiency certificates. A certificate officially establishes your level of competence in a given language. This will help you stand out to employers and make valuable cross cultural connections. With the widest selection of languages available to study of any Canadian university, our programs provide many options to grow personally and professionally.

Certificates cannot be pursued simultaneous alongside a graduate program.

Certificates pursued alongside an undergraduate degree cannot be awarded until you are graduating with your degree.

Chinese

Learn the most spoken language in the world and one becoming increasingly prominent politically and economically.

German

German is a vital tool for academic work in numerous disciplines across the fields of humanities and social sciences. It is also a major language of business, diplomacy and tourism in the European Union and has over 100 million speakers.

As such, Spanish is an ideal foundation for work in many different areas. Qualified bilingual and multilingual graduates are in demand in fields such as law, business and finance, media, social services, medicine, education and hospitality.
