AP/CH 3000 6.0 Advanced Modern Standard Chinese

This course entails reading, writing, discussion, use of dictionaries and translation practice. The student should, with the aid of dictionaries, be able to read and translate newspaper articles from the People's Republic, modern fiction and non-specialist articles.Prerequisite: AP/CH 2000 6.00 with minimum GPA of 4.0
