The Italian Short-Story

This course examines the development of the Italian novella from the Middle Ages to the Baroque period. Among the authors studied are: Boccaccio, Bandello and Basile. Prerequisite: AP/IT 2200 6.00, AP/IT 2200 3.0, or permission of the department. Course credit exclusion: AP/IT 3371 6.00. Language of Instruction: English
Students enrolled in a Major or Minor in Italian Studies may be required to complete coursework in Italian language.
PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Prerequisite: AS/IT 2200 6.00 or permission of the department. Course credit exclusions: AS/IT 3370 6.00 and AS/IT 3371 6.00.
