Professor Richard Leblanc was recently featured in multiple news stories discussing the July 8 Rogers outage.

In the Toronto Star, Leblanc suggested companies such as Rogers be more independently audited for their internal control to minimize the possibility of an outage.

In CP24, Leblanc said the situation may have been worse for the entire countray if the outage had been caused by a “threat actor”.
