As a new student to York University, you will be automatically considered for an entrance scholarship based on your final admission average. International applicants studying the Canadian curriculum at a secondary school within or outside of Canada are eligible for this award.

Continuing Student Scholarships
After your first year, you will automatically be considered for scholarships and bursaries based on your academic results. You can also apply for a wide range of awards. At York, you will be rewarded for the achievements you make as a York student. Continuing student scholarships are based on your academic performance each year. The value of each award varies depending on the specific award, grades achieved, and the number of courses completed. Many of these awards require an application, but some are automatically granted.
