eClass Workshop (Part 2): Introduction to eClass groups, activity restrictions and completion, and external tools
With the recent changes to the eClass interface and the start of a new academic year, the Dean's Office and FSc ITS are offering eClass re-introduction workshops to help our current and new faculty members familiarize themselves with the latest eClass changes and explore the different components of the platform.
Date: 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Time: Thursday, Aug 24th
Location: Lumbers 306 or via zoom
The workshop will include:
eClass Groups
- Understanding auto-create groups, manual create groups and how course meta-links work and its effects
Activity restrictions and completion
- Walk through restricting student access to certain activities and creating activity completion dependencies
External tools, ex: Panopto, Zoom, etc.
- Understanding different tools available and ways to add LTIs
