Post

Published on December 18, 2025

Thank you for your continued support, engagement, and invaluable contributions to our global health research community here at the Dahdaleh Institute. Happy holidays and cheers to a new year!

In a panel event moderated by DI research fellow Syed Imran Ali, three experts Dr. Ahmad Abu Shaban, DI community fellow Dr. Reem Abu Shomar, and Dr. Mohammed Al Barayka highlighted that the international community including researchers and scholars in universities in Canada have an ethical responsibility to challenge misinformation around Israel’s genocide in Gaza by supporting Palestinian knowledge production efforts. Partnering with Palestinian academics and experts, empowering them, and amplifying their voices are essential efforts to help Palestinians rebuild their institutions.
