LA&PS Insight Development Grant Information Session

The LA&PS Research Office invites you to join us for the 2024 SSHRC Insight Development Grant (IDG) Information Session.

Insight Development Grants support research in its initial stages. These grants enable the development of new research questions as well as experimentation with new methods, theoretical approaches and/or ideas.

Value: maximum $75,000

Duration: 1-2 years

Deadline: February 3, 2025

The session will feature an overview of the competition, guidance on strategies for developing competitive proposals, and a panel discussion with faculty members who have developed successful IDG applications and served on IDG review committees. The session will also outline resources available from LA&PS and from across York to strengthen applications and support research plans.
