Albert Tucker Award in British Graduate History

The Albert Tucker Award in British Graduate History will be given annually to one or more doctoral students for the purpose of advancing their research on their dissertation. The grant is to be used for travel, accommodation and meals abroad; conference travel is explicitly excluded.

Blishen-Richmond Award in Sociology

Established in honour of Professors Bernard Blishen and Anthony Richmond, distinguished sociologists who retired from the Department of Sociology. The award will be presented to the honours sociology graduand (Keele Campus) selected as outstanding among the candidates in both the Fall (previous year) and June convocation ceremonies.

Derek S. Hau-Guzmann Memorial Scholarship

The award will be given to the student with the philosophy essay in a third- or fourth-year course that most exemplifies the values of excellence and insight that Derek so cherished. The award may be withheld in any given year.
