Melissa J. Knauer Essay Prize

Awarded for the best essay submitted in the social sciences on a topic relating to women. Excellence and originality are the chief criteria. Eligible essays may have been written for courses in the previous fall/winter and summer sessions. Students or course directors may submit eligible essays for consideration.

Marta Danylewycz Essay Prize

It will be awarded to a student who has submitted the best essay in the humanities on a topic relating to women. Excellence and originality are the chief criteria. Students or course directors may submit eligible essays written for courses in the previous fall/winter or summer session.
