Christopher Beattie Essay Prize

It will be awarded to a Liberal Arts & Professional Studies student, registered in a sociology course at the 3000- or 4000-level, for the best essay in sociology. Eligible essays may have been written for current sessional courses or may be specially prepared for the competition. Themes, perspectives and methodologies of a wide variety are acceptable. Excellence and originality are the chief criteria.
