The Dalton Kehoe Scholarship will be given annually to an undergraduate student in the second year of study who has achieved the highest GPA in the "Communication in Everyday Life" course and is continuing on as a major in the Department of Communication Studies at the recommendation of the department chair (with advice from the course tutorial leaders). Should "Communication in Everyday Life" cease to be offered by York University, the recipient will be the student with the highest grade point average in their second year of study, at the recommendation of the department chair, with the intention to major in communication studies. This award honours Professor Dalton Kehoe who retired in 2008.
