George has more than 20 years of experience in sales enablement, payments and solution development, which he brings to his role as Vice President of Sales Excellence at Export Development Canada (EDC).
In his role, George leads 3 key areas core to EDC’s function:
- Sales Enablement, which includes Internal communications, Sales Training and Go To Market
- Business Intelligence, Analytics and Reporting which provides detailed insights driving EDC’s decision-making process, and
- Financial Product Innovation, where new and innovative solutions are developed to support Canadian exporters.
Prior to joining EDC, George was the Head of Channel and Partner Relations at Chase Merchant Services Canada (a business division of JPMorgan Chase). In his role, George lead the overall sales and distribution strategy for the business, while being responsible for strategic business development planning and strengthening strategic and technology partnerships to fuel Chase’s growth throughout Canada.
George oversaw a team of VP’s and executives across several partner segments (including financial institutions, associations, franchise, corporate, technology and independent Sales), whose roles were to identify and secure new partnerships, as well as manage the firms most strategic relationships.
