Doris Anderson Canadian Bursary

The Doris Anderson Canadian Bursary is offered each year to a full-time or part-time Graduate student in the School of Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies who studies at York University but whose permanent address is outside of Ontario. The applicant must also demonstrate financial need.

Albert Tucker Award in British Graduate History

The Albert Tucker Award in British Graduate History will be given annually to one or more doctoral students for the purpose of advancing their research on their dissertation. The grant is to be used for travel, accommodation and meals abroad; conference travel is explicitly excluded.

Margot Franssen and Quig Tingley Award for Undergraduate

Awarded to undergraduate students who are academically eligible to continue in an Honours program. Recipients must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, be Ontario residents and demonstrate financial need. George Vari Award for Excellence and Good Citizenship

The George Vari Award for Excellence and Good Citizenship will recognize a graduating student in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies for their outstanding academic achievement and community service. Demonstrated financial need will also be considered when selecting the recipient for this award.
