DARE Project: Analysing and Simulating Consensus Networks
Program(s) of Study: Economics
Project Supervisor: Sotirios Liaskos

I hope my research helps build a deeper understanding of causality within complex economic systems.

Project Description:

In our Project, “Analysing and Simulating Consensus Networks” we focused on applying stock-and-flow macroeconomic models to cryptocurrency sustainability and compare d AI-driven causal modeling techniques with traditional econometric methods for understanding macroeconomic phenomena. I engaged with key macroeconomic texts to better understand the stock and flow economic models as well as developing skills in Machine learning and causality. I helped develop causal loop diagrams to visually represent PoW sustainability dynamics using advanced computational skills. Furthermore, I implemented and tested stock-and-flow macroeconomic models through computational simulations using Python.
