The Hedi Bouraoui Essay Prize is awarded to a Year 3 or 4 student majoring in French (language, linguistics or literature), who has written a meritorious essay in French.

Established to honour Professor Donald Jackson, upon his retirement, for his extensive contribution to the University. The recipient of the award must be a French major or minor, have a cumulative GPA of 7.00 (B+) or higher in French Studies courses, and have at least two 8.00's in the last academic year.
Awarded to an undergraduate student who is majoring in one of the programs in the Department of Equity Studies, who is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, a resident of Ontario, and demonstrates financial need. Two scholarships are awarded annually to Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies students - one to a student majoring in economics and the other to a student majoring in political science. Both students must be entering the third- or fourth-year of their program. Some consideration will be given to demonstrable financial need.
Awarded annually to a registered student with Honours standing who demonstrates the importance of Chinese language training for their program of study and career goals. Preference will be given to a student majoring in East Asian studies with a demonstrated need to pursue summer language training.
