Fill out the Book a Visit form to schedule a time to connect. CoLearn is located in Ross Building South 117 and is available for booking by LA&PS instructors and staff. Bookings are prioritized for classes that incorporate active, experiential, and team-based learning.

Active Learning Classrooms
Featuring flexible seating around tables and handheld whiteboards, CoLearn’s three active learning classrooms encourage interaction and collaboration. Deisgned with learners in mind, the active learning classrooms offer:
- 1 larger active learning classroom with seating for up to 60 students
- 2 smaller hyflex active learning classrooms seating 38 students each
One Button Studio
Equipped with a green screen, lightboard, customizable lighting and automated setup, the user-friendly one button studio can help create high-quality digital learning objects, including recordings of lectures or demonstrations for eClass.
Student Drop-In Space
The student drop-in space offers comfortable seating, charging stations, computers, study carrels, and collaborative tables for groupwork. A welcoming area designed for study, the space is open for student drop-ins weekly.
Wrap-Around Support
Instructors can access pedagogical and technological support from the LA&PS Teaching and Learning and eServices teams. These teams are available to help instructors with actioning their teaching and tech strategies in CoLearn’s one button studio and active learning classrooms.
3D Printer
Turn digital designs into physical teaching and learning objects with the UltiMaker S3 3D Printer. As this is located outside the CoLearn space, to access or book the 3D printer reach out to the eServices team at esohelp@yorku.ca.
