Academic success and learning supports refer to a wide variety of instructional methods, educational services and supports, and other resources to help students reach their academic goals. The following list reflects the feedback from faculty and staff. The list includes academic help, advising assistance, peer-learning supports, and clarity on academic integrity and source citing.

York University offers multiple English language resources to help students develop the level of oral and written academic communication skills they need to succeed at university. The ESL Open Learning Centre, the ESL Café, workshops and peer tutoring are available to all registered students.
