I truly admire Paulette Burgher. Not only is she a wonderful leader who champions diversity and inclusion within the Faculty, but she is a strong and confident Black woman of integrity and honour. Paulette’s capacity to balance the many hats that she wears, is a testament to her strong work ethic and how much pride she takes in her role here in the Faculty. She strives for and achieves excellence; this has left a significant impact on me as I aim to do the same in my career. Paulette’s impeccable skills as a mentor and ability to inspire those around her to excel in their work shines through each day. She cares about her team's dreams, goals, health, and overall well-being. Whenever you speak with Paulette, you get a real sense that she truly cares, and she provides advice that genuinely helps you develop personally and professionally. She’s a leader who helps you find purpose in what you do and makes you feel appreciated as an individual. This, in my opinion, fosters a work culture of inclusivity and opens the door for growth opportunities for staff.
