As a junior staff person, I began my LA&PS journey with an eagerness to learn and grow. During my time in the Faculty, Margo has played an important role in nurturing and fostering my development as a professional. She has guided and supported me through professional and personal challenges and, most importantly, Margo has believed in me. She pushed me to move out of my comfort zone to pursue opportunities I otherwise would not have taken. Margo puts her heart and soul into supporting those she works with, always going the extra mile to help out. She brings compassion, empathy and guidance to her colleagues and always looks for ways to spread joy. Working with Margo never felt like work. She’s always made the department feel like a home away from home, so much so that my colleagues are like a second family. I will be forever grateful that our paths crossed in LA&PS.
