Dean J.J. McMurtry’s Departure from LA&PS

Dean J.J. McMurtry has taken on a new role at the University of Windsor as their next President and Vice-Chancellor, starting September 1, 2025. While we’ll miss his dedication and inspiring leadership here at LA&PS, we’re proud to celebrate this incredible achievement.

A career-focused mentorship and professional development program, Advancing YU is designed with lived experience in mind. Through one-on-one and group mentorship opportunities with accomplished LA&PS alumni, you’ll gain valuable insights, build meaningful connections and receive a $1,000 stipend upon the completion of program.
