As a new student starting university, it's common to have questions about classes, student life and more. At orientation, incoming students (domestic, international, exchange, transfer and mature), will be introduced to their degree program, College resources, as well as social, recreational and sports activities. Academic orientation will also include York University resources such as various academic services, financial resources along with other important tools to ease the transition to university life.
Any questions regarding Academic Orientation can be sent by email to lapscolleges@yorku.ca.

As a high school graduate entering University, I was really excited but also really nervous. The York University community and campus is very large and can be daunting. I worried about getting lost and being late for classes. There were so many more academic responsibilities and there were so many new skills to develop! Fortunately, as soon as I entered my College to attend the first year academic orientation I found myself in a welcoming community!"
