Last call to Apply for Summer 2025 Study Abroad Courses
January 24, 2025 is the deadline to apply for LA&PS Summer Study Abroad courses.
Several courses are still accepting applications from interested students until this Friday at 12 p.m., including: ANTH 2222 in Vancouver; HUMA 3825 in Germany & Poland; POLS 4201 in Uganda; and SOSC 4371 in Montreal.

The Quadrant Journal: Call for Submissions
Do you have an essay, photos and/or poems you want to have published? Submit to The Quadrant, a new journal from the LA&PS Colleges coming in 2025. The theme for the journal is "The Way Must Be Tried."
We are accepting limited submissions which will be reviewed and approved on a rolling basis.

The Nellie Library’s Fourth Annual Undergraduate Student Conference & Poetry Slam!
Do you have a unique project, which engages with feminist, anti-racist, intersectional and/or decolonizing approaches? The Nellie Library encourages students from all disciplines to apply for our Fourth Annual Undergraduate Student Conference & Poetry Slam. We look forward to showcasing the amazing work being produced by York University’s strong, committed and creative students!

Vibrant Visions: The Art of Black Girlhood in Canada
Don’t miss your chance to see the exhibit, Vibrant Visions: The Art of Black Girlhood in Canada at the Atrium Gallery, TIFF Lightbox. The exhibit is free to everyone and presents a series of collages that explore the cultural, social, historical and geographical forces shaping the lived experiences of Black girls in Toronto and Vancouver.
The free exhibit runs from February 9 – 22 (Open the same hours as TIFF Lightbox).
As part of Vibrant Visions and in conjunction with TIFF Next Wave, join us for a screening of the film Rocks as well as the short film, On a Sunday at Eleven and a moderated conversation with filmmaker Alicia K. Harris.
