Calling October 2026 graduates: Apply to graduate by July 31
If you are an undergraduate student completing your final term, you must apply in order to graduate. If you plan to graduate in October, submit your application online through the Apply to Graduate webpage by Friday, July 31.
If you have trouble submitting your application, email the Degree Audit team at degaud@yorku.ca. The deadline to apply is strictly enforced, so be sure to apply in advance to avoid any issues that could delay your graduation.
If you have questions about your degree requirements or want to confirm you’re on track, meet with your LA&PS Academic Advisor. LA&PS Academic Advising recommends checking in at least once a year and before your final term to make sure you have everything you need to graduate.
Start planning your fall and winter courses
It’s never too early to plan ahead! Enrolment windows indicating when you can start registering for Fall and Winter 2026–27 courses are now available on Student Web Services. Click “My enrolment access times” on the right side of the page to see your date.
Connect with your LA&PS Academic Advisor before your enrolment window opens to review your goals and course plans. Advising wait times are longer once enrolment begins, so meeting earlier can save you time.
Apply to Advancing YU: Applications close May 31
There’s still time to join Advancing YU, our mentorship program that pairs LA&PS students who identify as women and/or Black with accomplished York alumni. You’ll gain personalized career guidance, build valuable skills and prepare for what’s next — plus the program offers a $1,000 stipend!
