Remembrance Day Ceremony
York will be hosting the annual Remembrance Day ceremony, honouring the men and women who lost their lives during the First and Second World Wars and in other conflicts.

Don’t Wait to Complete Your General Education Courses
This is your reminder to complete your General Education courses as soon as possible – they are an essential degree requirement. Waivers will not be granted for students who have not completed them, and failure to take these courses promptly will delay your ability to graduate on time.

2025 Career Ready Conference
The Career Ready Conference is designed specifically for international students, featuring inspiring speakers, interactive workshops and networking opportunities aimed at supporting your professional development. This year’s conference offers a dynamic blend of virtual pre-conference sessions and an in-person conference experience, giving you the flexibility to engage in the way that works best for you. Gain the tools you need to succeed in today’s job market.
All pre-conference sessions are free. The full-day conference costs $15 to attend.

November is National Career Month, and you can jumpstart your career with the LA&PS Co-op Program. The application deadline is right around the corner, apply by Friday, Nov. 14 at 11:59 p.m. for the opportunity to get paid and gain real-world experience while still in school!
Start by attending the Co-op Information Session, where you will get an overview of the program, eligibility requirements, student responsibilities and the supports available to help you succeed.

Indigenous Lecture Series
In honour of Indigenous Education Month, join us for this year’s annual Indigenous Lecture Series: Rematriating Justice – Honouring the Lives of Our Indigenous Sisters. Dr. Jennifer Brant, founding director of the Indigenous Literatures Lab and an associate professor at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, will introduce Matriarchal Worlding, an Indigenous feminist orientation for ‘rematriating justice’ and upholding the power and place of Indigenous women and girls.

Vanier College Productions (VCP) presents Gaming with the VIC
What’s your favourite board game? Chess? Clue? Monopoly? Or could it be... sitting in the audience for our upcoming VIC show, Gaming with the VIC? Prepare to watch VCP’s improvisers play their best selves and find out if the dice rolls in their favour. Show up if you’re game!
